Fire Defence has achieved BAFE Registration. (British Approvals for Fire Equipment) This is an independent third party certificate of conformity which has taken many steps to achieve and is the benchmark for quality and competency.

 

February 2010


Amy Eastwood has been appointed Field Sales Representative. Amy has a proven track record in sales and identifying customers needs and will set up free site surveys for our experienced engineers to carry out.

With  new sales targets set for 2010, Fire Defence hope to capture more business and help local businesses consolidate their services under one service provider and therefore offer substantial savings. Amy also plans to call with existing extinguisher customers and introduce new additional services eg PAT testing, fire alarm and emergency lighting maintenances.

February 2009

Dave Redmond Co Wicklow joins the team to head the Fire Alarm Service Contracts in Southern Ireland. Dave has 20+ year experience in the Fire Protection and Security Industry and has spent several years running his own company Alert Fire Protection. The Clients of Alert Fire Protection are in the process of transferring services to Fire Defence were Dave will be happy to carry on the high level of service they have received in the past. We also hope that under the current Euro Sterling exchange rate we will be able to offer very competitive prices in Southern Ireland. 

 

September 2008

Fire Defence have just employed a full time Fire Alarm Engineer Alan Campbell with 15 years experience to introduce a new service to clients.

 

Alan Campbell will oversee this growth of Fire Alarm and Emergency Lighting installation maintenance and testing and training of existing staff. An all Ireland contract for several high street stores has already been secured. However our sales team are initially concentrating on working to secure more work with existing clients.

 

This enables Fire Defence to help clients cut down on annual service costs to different companies coming to carry out different jobs; we aim to offer essentially a one stop shop with a cost per service saving on call out fees.
