About Us

Fire Defence was founded in 1997 by Lynne McCabe as a fire extinguisher sales and service provider.

Jonathan McCabe became a partner in 2005 and helped direct Fire Defence in a new direction. Further service engineers were employed to expand coverage through out Ireland, and an administration department was set up to facilitate call outs and the growing client base. The business model was also changed from supply and sales of fire extinguishers with some ancillary sales in Health and Safety to move towards offering clients more services. Additional disciplines offered now include:

  • Fire Extinguishers
  • Fire Alarms & Emergency Lighting
  • PAT Testing
  • CCTV/Access Control/Intruder
  • Fire Risk Assessments
  • Fire Safety Training

Ongoing training with all engineers means customers can enjoy reduced costs as multi disciplined engineers can do more jobs on one visit.

Fire Defence achieved ISO9001 and BAFE SP101 and have implemented a management system that enables the company to have information per client such as a location list of equipment and a full service history per site.

Several all Ireland contracts to several major high street chain stores have already been secured. However our ethos has always been to concentrate on good customer care with our existing clients.
